CSGO: Sausol will replace Deathzz at Movistar Riders

There are a couple of Spanis teams in CSGO that stand out, and Movistar Riders are one of them. Sadly, the team achieved a series of disappointing results in the last couple of months. As a result, it seems like people decided it is time for a change.

According to the information, the Spanish team will remove Raul “DeathZz” Jordan Nieto with Pere “sausol” Solsona Saumell. The latter is a popular name in the Spanish CSGO scene because he was a part of SAW in 2021. After that, he moved to Partizan, where he stayed for around a year and a half.

The change

Those who keep an eye on the Spanish squad know this change had to be done a while ago. Movistar Riders haven’t had a lot of success and even missed out on the IEM Rio Major after failing to win in the qualifiers. One of the reasons for the team’s bad results is the absence of Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia, one of the best AWP players in Europe.

DeathZz was a part of Movistar Riders for around one year. Although he shined in a couple of matches, his stats were not as impressive as fans and other players expected. That said, the player helped his team win the ESL Challenger Valencia and secure a 3-4th finish at IEM Cologne 2022.

Sadly, this was Movistar Riders’ best result this year because the team didn’t achieve anything afterward. As mentioned, the most notable problem was their inability to qualify for IEM Rio. Furthermore, the club was eliminated in the group stage at ESL Challenger Rotterdam, which was another sign that the roster had problems.

Announcement

The first sign that sausol was going to make a move to another club was Partizan co-founder’s announcement on Twitter. He said that his team was about to sell one of their players to a top 30 HLTV team, and since sausol was on another level, most people expected him to make a move.

It will be interesting to see whether Movistar Riders have what it takes to start winning again. We will keep track of the team’s performance, so make sure you check the best CSGO betting sites if you are interested in punting on them.
