A report from Dexerto’s Jarek “DeKay” Lewis reveals that AdreN’ Kystaubayev, Abay ‘Hobbit’ Khassenov and Rustem ‘mou’ Telepov may reunite to create a new Counterstrike: Global Offensive team.
Reports from Counterstrike insider Jarek “DeKay” Lewis have revealed that former Gambit team members AdreN’ Kystaubayev, Abay ‘Hobbit’ Khassenov and Rustem ‘mou’ Telepov are attempting to create a brand-new team in the Counterstrike: Global Offensive scene.
The report mentions that the three even have no qualms about moving to a different region, such as Europe or North America. AdreN is currently the only free agent after a brief stint with FaZe Clan. If the team becomes reality, the new organization would have to buy out both Hobbit (from HellRaisers) and mou (from Gambit) from their contracts.
The three are veterans of Gambit Esports, who won the PGL Krakow Major in 2017 under the tutelage of Daniil ‘Zeus’ Teslenko. After Zeus’ departure back to Na`Vi, Gambit failed to make much of an impression at international tournaments. Shortly after, several players left the organization. Other than AdreN, none have found much success on the open market, nor with other teams. AdreN's run in FaZe Clan lasted just short of four months.
Unfortunately for the current Gambit roster, the organization effectively withdrew from competing the Counterstrike space in late May.
