CS:GO: Renegades Add MithR As Permanent Coach

Torbjørn “mithR” Nyborg joins Renegades on a permanent basis after a 3-month trial period.

The move to a long-term partnership became possible after the very successful trial period; Over the course of the three months under mithR's coaching, the Renegades achieved victories at ESL One: Road to Rio – Oceania and Dreamhack Masters Spring Oceania.

This is a sharp contrast to the performance of North over the time that mithR was their coach, a period of almost a year. During that time the Danish team won just one event; Dreamhack Open Sevilla 2019.

After the trial, mithR will become the first coach of the Renegades under their new tag. Previously, the squad were playing as Grayhound, when  Neil “Neil_M” Murphy left in September of 2019.

Coming up next for Renegades are their slots at ESL Pro League S12 and the ESL One Cologne 2020 LAN qualifier.

With that move finalized, the Renegades roster is now;

  • Christopher “dexter” Nong
  • Liam “malta” Schembri
  • Joshua “INS” Potter
  • Jordan “Hatz” Bajic
  • Simon “Sico” Williams
  • Torbjørn “mithR” Nyborg (coach)
