CS:GO News: Vega Squadron add Seized and Scoobyxie

Vega Squadron officially announced that the team has added Denis “seized” Kostin and Alexander “scoobyxie” Marynych to their Counterstrike: Global Offensive roster.

CIS organization Vega Squadron has announced the signings of Denis “seized” Kostin and Alexander “scoobyxie” Marynych to their Counterstrike: Global Offensive roster today. The move comes after a hectic early 2019 for the team. Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov left the team in late February. Two other Vega Squadron players, Pavel “hutji” Lashkov and Anton “tonyblack” Kolesnikov were designated inactive on March 30th.

The addition of seized and scoobyxie leaves the team with one more roster spot open on the team.

For his part, Kostin has been a journeyman free agent since his extend time on Natus Vincere that ended in January of 2018. Since then, seized has played for several teams that included FlipSid3 Tactics, a brief stint on Gambit Esports, UnderPressure, and Runtime.gg.

Scoobyxie, on the other hand, has never played for a top-tier team. At 21 years old, he stepped onto the scene in January of 2018. Since then, he has played with seized on both UnderPressure and Runtime.gg.

Vega Squadron seems to be in the middle of a rebuilding process. Since the squad failed to make it to the IEM Katowice Major, the team has seen the departure of almost fifty percent of its roster. In the Katowice qualifiers, Vega Squadron dropped series to NiP, Vitality, and G2 Esports.

With the addition of seized and scoobyxie, the Vega Squadron roster is as follows:

Dmitriy “ chopper” Chervak

Igor “crush” Shevchenko

Denis “seized” Kostin

Alexander “scoobyxie” Marynych

Artem “Fierce” Ivanov (Coach)
