CSGO News: Reports Indicate devils.one Roster Set to Leave Organization

Reports indicate that the players of the Kinguin-owned Counterstrike: Global Offensive team devils.one will not sign new contracts.

A report from Jared “DeKay” Lewis this morning indicates that the players from devils.one, the rebranded Kinguin team, will not sign new contracts with the organization. DeKay cites that the players “disagreed on many terms of the new contracts presented to them,” including a lower salary and forced moves to Warsaw, Poland, where the organization is based.

The team, headed by ex-Virtus.Pro veteran Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas, haven’t had the strongest start since their formation in early February. The team finished 3rd out of four teams in the ESL Pro League Season 9 Group B. devils.one went a combined 1-2. Finishing above Ninjas in Pyjamas but behind both FaZe Clan and Heroic. That said, the team recently won the Lotto Cup Winner's Cup just this past weekend. Additionally, devils.one finished 5-8th at the ESL One Cologne 2019 Open Qualifier.

The report also states that it is unknown whether or not the team will stick together or branch out to different teams. ESTNN has reached out to both Kinguin and TaZ and will update this article if and when we receive statements from the parties involved.

Prior to the reports, the devils.one roster was as follows:

  • Mikołaj “mouz” Karolewski
  • Karol “rallen” Rodowicz
  • Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas
  • Jacek “MINISE” Jeziak
  • Paweł “dycha” Dycha (trial)
  • Mariusz “Loord” Cybulski (coach)
