CS:GO: Kristou Joins North on Loan While Kjaerbye Keeps Recovering

Young Danish prospect Kristoffer “Kristou” Aamand will play under the banners of North due to state of health of Marcus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye, who is taking a prolonged break from competitive CS:GO.

Earlier this month, Kjaerbye missed North’s official matches without a real official announcement. Despite it, North made it to the play-off stage of ESL One: Road to Rio — Europe.

Now we know more as Marcus revealed that he's suffering from abdominal pains, breathing problems, and chest cramps. Kjaerbye is going to “listen his body” and, with that said, we wish all the best to him and hope he will fully recover soon.

Kristou, the 18-year-old player from AGF is going to step in instead Kjaerbye. Kristoffer will represent North at Dreamhack Masters Spring Europe up until the moment Kjaerbye feels well enough to get back in the game.

North's current roster:

  • Nicklas “gade” gade
  • Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen
  • René “cajunb” Borg
  • Philip “aizy” Aistrup
  • Kristoffer “Kristou” Aamand (stand-in on loan)
  • Jimmy “Jumpy” Berndtsson (coach)
  • Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye (on break due to medical reasons).
