Gambit started the Grand Finals on Mirage, where they beat OG in a close 16-14 game. The teams played their next match on Dust II, where OG had the upper hand in the opening rounds of the game. However, Gambit managed to end the half with a score of 8-7 on the terrorist side. The Second half was fairly comfortable for Gambit, winning the game 16-11. The last and decisive match on Overpass was an easy 16-7 win for Gambit. Although OG looked good in the first few round with a 4-1 lead, Gambit were just too strong.
Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov was the MVP of the tournament with insane plays and consistency throughout the event. Gambit has shown brilliant performances from different players in their roster which shows the team is very well integrated. They have a well-balanced team with talented players providing different qualities through their gameplay.
Gambit Esports will now face Evil Geniuses tomorrow in the opening rounds of the Blast Premier Spring Finals.
