CS:GO: Gambit Beat Na’Vi To Head Into The Blast Premier Grand Finals

Na’Vi lost but we could see a rematch.

Gambit Esports’ sparkling form showed its full potential against Na’Vi. Simple’s squad fell short in a 2-1 final score paving the path into the Grand Finals for Gambit.

The matchup between Gambit and Na’Vi always raises the temperature. Both the teams have been one of the best squads in the last few months. Their clash in the Blast Premier was no exception. The first match on Dust 2 went in favour of Gambit as they fought a close 16-14 battle against Na’Vi. However, Na’Vi were quick to come back on Ancient, which was the second map of the game. Gambit were the terrorist side in the first half and could not get a lead, giving Na’VI 6-9 advantage. It was all Na’Vi in the second half and Gambit could only grab a single round losing 7-16 on the scoreline.

The last match on Mirage was a beautiful display of confidence and skill from Gambit, who won the first seven rounds, giving a hard time to Natus Vincere. Gambit won the last match 16-7, stepping forward to the Grand Finals.

Na’Vi will now face G2 Esports in the lower brackets of the playoffs. G2 are also in great shape after getting a well-deserved victory against NiP in the third round of the playoffs. Na’Vi will fave Gambit again if they manage to win against G2 and that will be an interesting conclusion to the tournament.
