Cowana Gaming have announced they will no longer field an active roster in CS:GO.
Germany is home to some of the best CSGO teams and players in the world. Cowana gaming aimed to become one of the leading organizations in the country when it entered the market in 2020. However, it seems like this was not a good idea because, just a few years later, the organization is no longer active.
Goodbye Cowana Gaming

CSGO fans who keep an eye on the professional CSGO scene are probably not surprised by cowana’s decision. Just a few days ago, Thomas “Thomas” Utting decided to part ways with the organization following some problems. Earlier, Kevin “HS” Tarn did the same, and he stated that he made the decision because of unpaid salaries.
It is sad to see that one of the most promising German eSports organizations is stepping down after just 2 years. Cowana became popular in 2022 when it decided to create a roster full of German and European players. In fact, the team even had the likes of Kevin “kRYSTAL” Amend on its roster.
However, even this player was not enough for the team to make a name for itself. Cowana took part in many events in the last 2 years, but it only got into the top 50 best teams once. This is not enough for an organization whose goal was to become one of the top names in CSGO.
In the statement released by the organization, cowana states that players are free to leave without the need to worry about any transfer fees. This means that we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw them in a different jersey in the near future.
No one knows whether cowana Gaming will make a comeback to CSGO and the eSports scene as a whole. Hopefully, the people behind the project will be able to resolve their issues and me back stronger than ever.
In the meantime, you can keep an eye on some of the upcoming CSGO events and use the top-tier betting sites. CSGO is one of the most prominent eSports, so bookies always have special promotions and allow their clients to choose from loads of markets.
