CS:GO: BLAST Premier Spring Groups And Play-Ins

BLAST Premier Spring's summary of what has happened and what’s coming.

The group stage of BLAST Premier Spring has ended. We finally have all the winners and a brief idea about how the Play-Ins will look like.

Group Stage

In Group A, G2 Esports won 22-19 against Ninjas in Pyjamas on the Mirage map. NiP faced a terrible loss against G2 in the Upper Bracket Finals, but got a second chance to face G2 after they defeated BIG in the Lower Bracket. NiP tried really well to come on top, but failed to topple G2.

In Group B, Astralis fought their way to the Grand Finals after defeating Natus Vincere and MIBR. Unfortunately, OG were too strong for Astralis and the latter lost 16-8 in a one-sided match on Inferno. Interestingly, this was the same scoreline when these two faced each other in the Upper Bracket Round 1 game. OG crushed their group.

Team Vitality seems extremely strong in this tournament. They won against EG and FaZe Clan, but lost to the latter after coming back from the Lower Bracket. FaZe, on the other hand, also look like a solid team in Group C. They defeated Vitality 16-10 on Overpass in the Grand Finals.
