However, before you unlock the options and use the different commands, you need to get the demo. Sadly, some people are getting the CS2 demo download incomplete problem and can’t get a hold of it. That’s why it is time to learn more about the problem.

CS2 Demo Download Incomplete Error – How to Fix It?

If you are getting the “Download Incomplete” error when you are trying to get the replay, it could be because of two main factors:

  • You are trying to get a replay of a game that just ended OR
  • You are trying to get a demo of a match that is in the process of ending

Luckily, this is one of the CS2 problems that is not that difficult to solve. In fact, the easiest fix is to delete the failed demo and simply get a new one. Ideally, you should give it a minute or two before doing so you can be sure that the new demo won’t cause the CS2 demo download incomplete issue.

If that does not fix the issue, you have to change specific settings. To do that, go to Steam and CS2, and choose Properties. Go to Installed Files, hit Browse, and go to the CSGO folder, where you will come across the replays folder. Once there, check all files, open your game, and run those that are present.

The process of getting a replay

Before you receive the CS2 demo download incomplete issue, you need to get the demo in the first place. This is easy because you just need to select the TV icon in the game, and you will see a replay of your most recent games. Of course, CS2 will not save everything, so make sure the replay you want to get is of a game that took place recently.
