CSGO: Chaos Esports Club Acquire the Ben’s Anime Team Roster

Chaos Esports Club has signed the Ben's Anime Team roster.

The North American roster most notably contains ex-Ghost in-game-leader Joshua “steel” Nissan alongside younger players Gage “Infinite” Green and Cameron “cam” Kern. The signing comes after Chaos released its Swedish roster in early September. When Chaos let that team go, general manager Jared Fletcher stated that “We are actively pursuing options in North America and hope to have a roster ready to announce soon.”

Shortly after Fletcher’s statement was released, a report from Rush B Media suggested that Chaos were interested in acquiring Nissan, Kern and Green alongside former Heroic player Niels-Christian “NaToSaphix” Sillasssen” and a Cloud9 Major Champion, Will “RUSH” Wierzba. However, neither players are part of this iteration of the roster. Instead, Ben “ben1337” Smith and Maxim “wippie” Shepelev will be rounding out the squad with Alan “Shakezullah” Hardeman as a coach/substitute.

Chaos stated it will be relocating all members of its roster to Altlanta, Georgia in order for the players to be able to “compete full time under the Chaos EC banner.”  The roster will have just four days to adjust to life under the new brand before their inaugural LAN competition at DreamHack Open Atlanta this weekend.

The new Chaos roster is as follows:

Gage “Infinite” Green
Ben “ben1337” Smith
Cameron “cam” Kern
Joshua “steel” Nissan
Maxim “wippie” Shepelev
Alean “Shakezullah” Hardeman (Coach/Sub)
