CCT Shared More Information About the $500,000 CCT Global Finals

The CCT Global Finals will be one of the CS2 events that you don’t want to miss out on. Here’s what we know so far.

Although there is still time for the CCT Global Finals in May, we have learned very important information you need to be aware of. Today, the Champions of Champions Tour (a.k.a. CCT) has announced the 16 teams that will take part in the Global Finals. Let’s learn more about it.

CCT Global Finals – Teams

The CCT Global Finals will be a prestigious Counter-Strike 2 tournament that will have a $500K prize pool. Unless the organizers decide to change something, the tournament will include 16 teams, and today, we’ve learned the names of some of them.

Before checking the list below, keep in mind that 11 of these teams have qualified using the Studi and the Online Finaals circuit. Only 5 of them will receive direct invitation, but we do not know their names yet. Speaking of names, here’s a list of every CS2 team we are currently aware of that will attend the CCT Global Finals:

  • Aurora
  • paiN
  • MiBR
  • Preasy
  • BIG
  • Eternal Fire
  • Spirit
  • Virtus.Pro

Something to keep in mind is that some of these squads may be unable to attend the tournament, so we might see changes. We can see some intriguing names, such as Team Spirit, the squad that won IEM Katowice.

The Tournament

What we know so far is that there will 4 GSL groups. Once the action at the CCT Global Finals group stage is over, 8 teams will advance to the playoff bracket, which will feature a single elimination.
