After the much-needed summer break, we are back to top-tier Counter-Strike competition with the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023


Three groups, twelve teams – the 2023 Fall Groups will give us six qualified rosters for the Fall Finals 2023, taking place in November. The 11-day-long offline tournament will be held in Copenhagen, and a prize pool of $177,498 is set to be distributed among the twelve participating teams. With the matches starting on July 13, get ready to witness another highly anticipated S-tier competition of CSGO this year, and here is your viewer’s guide –

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023 – Format

The event will start with a Group Stage where four teams in each group will battle in a double-elimination GSL format. The winner of each group will qualify for the Fall Final, and the remaining teams will have to compete in the Play-In Stage.

The Play-In Stage will have three single-elimination gauntlets, where the winner of each gauntlet will advance to the Fall Final. Second seed holders from each group will have a head start in Round 2 of the Play-In Stage, while the 3rd and 4th squads must battle in Round 1 of gauntlets.

Teams who fail to qualify for the Fall Final will advance to the EU or AM Fall Showdowns. 

All matches at this event will follow a Best of 3 format.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023 – Schedule

The first day of Fall Groups 2023 matches will start at 06:00 PT / 09:00 ET / 15:00 CEST on Thursday, July 13, and the next two days’ matches will begin earlier at 03:00 PT / 06:00 ET / 12:00 CEST. 

Beyond the Group Stage, the Play-In matches will begin at 06:00 PT / 09:00 ET / 15:00 CEST every day.
