Blacklist International won the Acer Pacific Predator League 2024 after an interesting run. Let’s learn more about it.

As reported around a month ago, the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 was going to be one of the first Dota 2 tournaments of the year. As its name suggests, the event took place in Southeast Asia, so it featured a lot of the big names there. In the end, Blacklist International was above the rest and won the tournament.

One of the best Dota 2 teams in Southeast Asia started its dominant performance in Group A. The squad was in a group with Execration, ZOL Esports, Whoops! And Muth Avenue Gaming. As expected, BI did not have any problems and finished first without losing a single map.

After the Group, Blacklist International had a match against IHC Esports in the deadly Bo1 series. Even though their opponents had a pretty good draft, in the end, Blacklist International won the clash and secured itself the sport in the Final.

Speaking of the devil, the last match of the Acer Pacific Predator League was between Blacklist International and Execration. The two had already met once, and BI won. The same thing happened here.

The two games were pretty fun to watch because both teams wanted to win the event. Game 1 was closer than the second one, but Blacklist International was in control in both clashes, and the team won the tournament. 

This victory gave BI $65,000, which is not a bad amount for a Tier 2 Dota 2 tournament. Unfortunately, Blacklist International is probably not feeling great because the team failed to qualify for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, a tournament where the prize pool is $1M.
