Astralis vs Cloud9 Preview and Predictions: Brazy Party 2023

Astralis vs Cloud9 will be the Brazy Party 2023 Grand Final matchup

Cloud9 will be seeking a slice of revenge for their IEM Dallas 2023 Closed Qualifier defeat to Astralis when they take on the Danes in the Brazy Party 2023 Grand Final. Vladislav “nafany” Gorshkov’s men came back from an opening map defeat against OG to w2-1, while Astralis capped 9INE’s winning run to 16 games to qualify for the Brazy Party 2023 Grand Final.

If you bet on CSGO, you might want to put your money on Cloud9 as oddsmakers are backing them as the favorites. Astralis, however, will be hoping to upset the Russians once again.

Astralis faced a 9INE side that boasted a 16-map winning run in the semifinals. 9INE have been unstoppable on Vertigo lately and they seemed destined to open with another Vertigo as they raced to 13 points. But Astrals cut the deficit and grabbed an overtime win. The Poles’ struggle on Ancient continued as they fell to a 16-7 defeat.

Cloud9 and OG’s battle dragged on for more than four hours as both teams gave their best to make it to the grand final. The Russians came up trumps on the decisive Ancient map in overtime to settle the tie. OG had put the pressure on Cloud9 earlier on as they grinded out an overtime win on Inferno. Things seemed to have taken a turn for the worse for the Russians as Abay “HObbit” Khassenov had to come off before the Overpass map, but Timofey “interz” Yakushin proved to be a worthy replacement and helped his side to a 16-11 win.
