Asia RMR Live: Organizers Mull Over Rescheduling Some Day 1 Matches After Five-Hour Delay
The opening day fixtures of the Paris Major 2023 Asia-Pacific RMR suffered unexpected technical difficulties in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Technical issues continue to plague the Paris Major Asia-Pacific Regional Major Ranking 2023 broadcast, which has been displaying a waiting screen for the past three hours after a five-hour delay. According to reports, the delay is a result of ongoing server problems, and the organizers are trying to remedy the issue with a new server.

The initial plan for day one included an additional five matches, among them the Rare Atom-VERTEX match that has been at a 1-3 scoreline for hours. The organizers are now considering rescheduling options, which can result in pushing the Upper Bracket Semi Finals to tomorrow. If that happens, only three more matches will remain to be played today.
While it is common for technical issues to arise during Regional Major Ranking, the postponement of almost an entire day’s play is practically unheard of.
Meanwhile, Rare Atom AWPer Andrew “kaze” Khong will not be able to carry on when the match resumes as he fell ill. Coach Zhu “ k4Mi” Xielin will step into the arena to replace the 28-year-old.
