Apex Legends Season 20 Breakout Patch Notes reveal the addition of a new LTM game mode, legend perks, 120hz support for consoles, and a whole lot more.

With Apex Legends Season 20, the game will complete its 5th anniversary, and EA has planned to release a plethora of content with this new update.

The developer team at EA and Respawn have made several improvements in the game engine that will now allow players on current-gen consoles such as the Xbox Series X and S and the Playstation 5 to allow to play the game at 120 frames per second. “Enable Performance Mode for 120Hz output to displays that support it!” read the blog post.

Apex Legends Seasom 20 introduces a host of new changes to the Weapon Crafting mode within the game. The number of Replicators within a map have been increased, and it no longer takes crafting materials to use a replicator. each Replicator within the game is now free to use. However, The available options have that each replicator grants have also been reduced, in order to accommodate a new single use system. Printing an item including the Shield Battery, Medkit, Ammo, and Player Banners will exhaust a Replicator for each player.

• Decreased interaction time with Replicators
• Inventory can now be accessed from the crafting menu
• Printed items left alone will auto-eject from the Replicator after some time

Players will earn EVO points from many core actions, like dealing damage, that help you succeed in the Battle Royale—with some actions also rewarding EVO to the whole squad. Earn EVO from the following Sources:

• Personal Gains
  • Damage
  • Knocks and Knock Assists
    • Knocks against a legend of higher level will net an underdog XP bonus
  • Finishers
  • EVO Cache (Care Packages, Vaults etc.)

      • Squad Wipes
      • Revives
      • Respawns
      • Class Interactions (Survey Beacons, Ring Consoles, etc.)
      • World Interactions (Wildlife, Trials Completions, etc.)
      • EVO Harvester

BONUSES

The changes to Ranked also include a list of other changes that reward players with RP upon scoring killstreaks i.e, landing several frags?kills in a row.

• Top 5 Streak Bonus: for maintaining a placement streak of 5th or better. Everytime you extend your streak you’ll earn 10RP more than your previous match, up to a maximum of a 40 RP bonus.
  • 2 match streak: +10 RP
  • 3 match streak: +20 RP
  • 4 match streak: +30 RP
  • 5+ match streak: +40 RP`
• Challenger Bonus: earn a 50% bonus on an elimination of a higher ranked player when you’ve personally contributed. T his bonus is unaffected by the elimination soft cap of 6 kills.

Apex legends Season 20 releases on servers across all regions on Monday, February 13. Season 20 Breakout also has a host of updates for many of other legends, along with balance changes for weapons, and perk bonuses. The list of content available with the latest update for players across all platforms is extensive, and EA and Respawn Entertainment look to breathe some new life into the game. Season 20, titled “Breakout”, is for sure a breakout season in the game that intends to break new ground within the popular battle royale game.
