Americas RMR Matches Postponed Because Of Technical Difficulties

Power shortage hampers the first day’s proceedings of the Americas RMR in Monterrey, Mexico

After technical difficulties took center stage on the first day of the Paris Major Asia-Pacific RMR, the Americas RMR also had a less-than-ideal start because of technical issues. The organizers had to wait more than an hour and a half to get the first match of the day going and then postponed the Round 2 matches to Friday.

Power supply issues at the venue have been responsible for the delays, resulting in the event already falling behind schedule. According to reports, Hotel Safi Metropolitan, the venue of the event, has been suffering problem problems for the past few days and they could not resolve the issue before the competitions began. 

Liquid and 00NATION were the first teams to enter the servers. Even though Furia and LOS oNe were supposed to play at the same time, their match started a bit later. Liquid and FURIA both picked up easy wins before the rest of the day’s matches took place.
