$1M CS2 Skin Came Up After 10 Years – STATTRAK FACTORY NEW #661 SCAR PATTERN

You can find a lot of popular CS2 skins, but one surfaced just recently, and it became one of the most expensive options.

Nowadays, you can find many different CS2 skins, some of which are more popular than others. Certain skins, such as those for knives and gloves, often cost a lot of money, so not that many people can afford them. Just when we thought we’d seen everything from CSGO, we got to see a new CS2 skin for the AK-47 that changed our perception of these cosmetic items.

New CS2 Skin for AK-47

An extremely rare variation of the AK-47 Case Hardened skin was discovered in Counter-Strike 2. The community was shocked because no one expected to see this skin from something that was released back in 2013. However, the skin was revealed to the public, and its price quickly skyrocketed, reaching up to the jaw-dropping amount of $1,000,000.

What makes this CS2 AK-47 Case Hardened skin one of the most sought-after items in the game is its uniqueness. It has a special float value, design pattern, and weapon time. The Blue Gem, as many people call it now, is something that we have not seen in the game despite the fact that it has been here for more than 10 years. Generally speaking, all of the CS skins from the Case Hardened design are rare and are pretty expensive, but the one that was discovered yesterday is in a league of its own.

Speaking of its discovery, we’ve learned about this CS2 AK-47  skin from OhnePixel, one of the most popular skin experts in the game. If we analyze the skin, we can see that it is the only one in existence because of its specifics. The weapon type is Factory New, its design pattern is #661, it features a StatTrak and its Float Value is 0.0482745283519707.

After learning more information about that CS2 skin, it became clear that it was added in August of 2013. In fact, the skin was added alongside the very first case that Valve called “The Arms Deal Collection”. Back then, this was one of the biggest updates in the game’s history.

The thing about this AK-47 Case Hardened skin is that there are many different variations out there, but all of them are in Minimal Wear condition. Despite attractiveness, they are not as rare as the Factory New, which (at least for now) remains the only one in the world.

While it is true that no one can put a real value on this CS2 skin, expats, such as OhnePixel predict it is worth around $800K to $1M. Of course, we are yet to see if someone is willing to pay that much money for a cosmetic item in Coutner-Strike.

What’s next for this CS2 Skin?

A lot of people who like CS skins from the community can’t wrap their heads around the idea that skin can cost that much. If the numbers are correct, this will be the world's second most expensive CS2 skin. Most of you thought that it would take the first place, but at the time of writing, the award goes to the Karambit Case Hardened Factory New 387 Pattern. This Blue Gem is estimated to be worth around $1.5M, which is even more absurd.

What’s even more absurd is that the owner of this incredibly rare skin even turned down an offer of more than $1.4M a few years ago. With that said, the current situation with the CS2 skins is not that good (a lot of them have lost some value since the arrival of the new game), so if the owner of the AK-47 Case Hardened StatTrak Factory New 661 Pattern gets such an offer, he will most likely accept it.
