YouTuber Ludwig Announces Streamer-Only Fortnite Mondays Tournament

YouTube streamer Ludwig Ahgren announced a content creator-only Fortnite tournament amid the no-build craze.

Thousands of players worldwide loaded up Fortnite in 2022 to see all the hype. In Chapter 3- Season 2 – the game’s latest season – Epic Games removed the game's foundational building mechanic as a storyline element. While it was a risk, old and new players welcomed the change with open arms. The developer's decision reshaped how people felt about the once iconic game, and content creators followed suit

Twitch turned YouTube creator Ludwig became one of many streamers who delved back into Fortnite. Considering the buzz, the Streamer of the Year announced plans to host a no-build tournament featuring only content creators.

Ludwig's No-Build Fortnite Tournament

Not many people expected to see names such as Felix “xQc” Lengyel, Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter and Imane “Pokimane” Anys playing Fortnite in 2022. Alas, here we are. Content creators who enjoyed the game in its prime moved on when the building mechanic became an absolute necessity to master. Naturally, the no-build concept carried appeal on a massive scale.

Enter Ludwig Ahgren, a streamer known in the community for organizing significant events. Early this morning, he took to Twitter to reveal a no-build Fortnite tournament with recognizable names involved. The list of team captains includes Mo1stCr1TiKal, Pokimane, Sykkuno, QT Cinderella and more. While the format isn't clear, this tournament should be interesting nonetheless.

What Time Does the Competition Start?

Ludwig's tweet mentioned a 5:30 PM EST / 2:30 PM PST start time for the custom-lobby competition, but details beyond that are unknown. It's also unclear whether there will be a prize pool or if the tournament is merely for fun and entertainment.

We can expect a good show when these top streamers square off in no-build Fortnite. Check out the Ludwig Fortnite Mondays tournament tomorrow on each creator's channel.
