Are you a fan of survival games? 2024 has been a great year so far for you then! Palworld and Enshrouded have been an absolute blast for survival games lovers. Nightingale aims to reach, or even surpass, the heights set by these two survival titles this year. The dystopian magical setting does make the game different from Palworld and Enshrouded, which has made gamers even more curious about the upcoming Inflexion Games title. When is Nightingale coming to PS5 and Xbox? As the late February release date looms nearer, here is everything you need to know about Nightingale’s console release. 

When is Nightingale Coming to PS5 and Xbox?

For now, Nightingale is coming exclusively to PC. The game will hit Early Access on February 20 and be available on Steam and Epic Games Store. The developers did not officially reveal plans of a console release yet. 

With its initial PC-only release, there's no option for crossplay or cross-progression across platforms, which also comes as a disappointment for many players interested in the title. 

Nightingle was supposed to launch in late 2022, but it encountered several delays. The first one happened in August 2022, when Inflexion Games decided to upgrade it to Unreal Engine 5. CEO Arryn Flynn then announced another delay during Gamescom ONL, mentioning the team's intention to make changes based on playtesting feedback.

The FAQ section on the game’s official website says that the Nightingale is currently PC only. The statement implies that while Nightingale is only available on PC right now, it could follow the footsteps of multiple other titles and announce a console release later. There is no way of forecasting, however, whether it would drop in all major cosoles or be announced as a platform specific release down the line.
