Twilight Princess Set in TOTK
Tears of the Kingdom has classic Link outfits that range through every game in the series. The Twilight Princess set of armor in TOTK is one of the most identifiably Link though, so there’s a certain appeal to tacking it down. Much like the other armor sets, it’s divided into a few parts. There’s the Cap of Twilight, Tunic of Twilight, and Trousers of Twilight.
Unlike some sets, like getting the Fierce Deity set in TOTK, the Twilight Princess set in Tears of the Kingdom isn’t a specific quest. You’re not getting any teasers or hints that give you an idea of where to go. You’ll need to just find them completely by luck! So how do you track them down? We’ll cover the locations for each piece of the Twilight Princess set in TOTK here.
How to Get the Cap of Twilight
The Cap of Twilight is the first step to getting the Twilight Princess set in TOTK. For this one, you’ll need to head over to the Gleeok Den. That’s a location in the depths at 0215,3200, -0623. You can get here easiest by travelling to the Typhio Ruins Skyview Tower, then moving over to the depths.
This is a hard piece to get. You’ll have to kill a King Gleeok. Once you head into the den, you’ll have to take on the fight. The best way to take these down is to take your time and use builds in TOTK. Use a lot of beam emitters and try to take them down while staying in relative safety.
Once you’ve defeated the monster, you’ll get a Cap of Twilight! That’s the first stage to picking up the whole set.
How to Get the Tunic of Twilight
The next stage to grabbing all of the armor is to get the Tunic. For this, you’re heading over to the Rist Mine. The Sinatanika Shrine is the closest spot to fast travel here. You’ll want to head into the depths by the Akinatanis Lightroot. Then follow up through the mountains and head south. Then you’re going to see the Kawikatisar Lightroot.
From here, there is a small passage heading into Rist Mine itself. You’ll have to get through a few smaller enemies, but at the end of the mine path you’ll find the Tunic to get the Twilight Princess set in TOTK.
How to Get the Trousers of Twilight
The final piece of the puzzle is the Trousers of Twilight. These are the completing piece to fully get the Twilight Princess set in TOTK. For this one, you’ll want to head over to the Domizuin Shrine. Then below the bridge with a Thunder Gleeok on it. Below that is the South Akkala Plains Chasm, where you can head inside to the Ancient Underground Fortress.
Head into the depths and past the Niuzimod Lightroot. This route is below the Ancient Underground Fortress. There are a few enemies here, but you can just head past them and get your reward from the chest. That’s the last part to get the Twilight Princess set in TOTK.
How to Get the Twilight Princess Set in TOTK With Amiibo
That’s how you can get the Twilight Princess set in TOTK through the game itself. It’s quite an adventure heading through the depths, but there’s a simpler alternative too. If you have the Twilight Princess Link amiibo, there’s an easier option.
Scanning the Amiibo each day will give you Twilight Princess-related rewards. Each day has the chance to spawn the armor too! You’ll eventually get it this way, but it is dependent on having the amiibo and then the luck of the draw from what reward you get. Players without the amiibo can get it too now, unlike in Breath of the Wild.
What Does the Twilight Princess Set in TOTK Do?
The Twilight Princess set in TOTK has a feature outside of just looking fun. It gives you +3 defence per item. In total, that’s +9 in all. It isn’t the biggest reward considering all the other armor in the game. Although, it is nice to have a classic link armor set!
