Toronto Overwatch League Franchise Unveils Official Brand

The Toronto franchise of the Overwatch League (OWL) unveiled their official branding during a launch party in Toronto last night. The team revealed their logo and team name for their OWL expansion franchise… Toronto Defiant!
The Toronto Defiant previously announced their general manager (Jaesun “Jae” Won) and head coach (Beom-joon “Bishop” Lee), Their next big announcement will be revealing their roster. Most OWL franchises have announced their rosters over the past week, therefore the news should be just around the corner.
The Toronto Defiant are one of seven OWL expansion teams, with Vancouver joining the party as the other Canadian team. The Overwatch League is the very first major city-based esports league.
The London Spitfire were the winners of the Grand Finals during the inaugural season. Toronto's coach Bishop was the coach of the Spitfire until January.
