Cleaner UI, DLSS and more. Here's a look at the best Starfield mods to augment your playthrough.
Starfield's sandbox space exploration has surpassed everyone's expectations, and excluding a few peccadilloes, it's probably one of the best games of the year, challenging the likes of Zelda: Breath of The Wild and Baldur's Gate 3. The game offers a wealth of missions as well as spacefaring options, with a variety of spaceships that let you live out your greatest sci-fi fantasies.
But there's always something to be improved, and the modding community has already made some strides in adding a few extra polishes to Bethesda's latest open-world RPG. Here's all of the best mods for Starfield, what they do and how to get them.

- In-Game FOV Changer
- Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) and Xe Super Sampling (XeSS)
- 60 FPS – Smooth UI
- Run Forever Silently
- Compact Inventory UI
- No more zoomed in dialogue camera
- Unlimited Traders
- Yellow Crosshairs

Field of View Slider
On the top of our best Starfield mods list is the “In-Game FOV Changer” by keanuWheeze. This mod lets you change the extent of how much of the game you're viewing. The change is permanent, meaning the the settings will apply wherever you go. The slider was last updated at the start of September, and works perfectly to give you control over the game's immersion. Better visuals also help you die less in the game, I hear.
If you want to take a break from all the star wars, Starfield's base-building mechanics let you establish outposts across the fringes of the known galaxy. These additional tech trees can be loads of fun, and add even more hours to the game's already lengthy playtime. Added DLSS and XeSS
“Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) and Xe Super Sampling (XeSS)” both improve the look of your game by focusing on the finer details. These upgrades essentially use AI to enhance the graphics of the game further, making Starfield look and feel more realistic than it already is. Both features are found in nearly all modern Nvidia and Intel GPU's respectively.

60 FPS UI
Want a smoother user interface? A modder by the name of Fuzzles has you covered. In the name of optimization, grab the “60 FPS – Smooth UI” for a more fluid heads-up display.
Unlimited Oxygen
Next up is a mod for all of the players who are sick of the stamina game mechanic. “Run Forever Silently” by ogabooga66 lets you run in Starfield without ever having to worry about your Oxygen reserves. Moreover, it removes the running noise entirely, giving you some nice peace and quiet while you're running away from trigger-happy space pirates.
Improved Inventory
“Compact Inventory UI” lets you view more items in your inventory window, adding 3 additional slots. With a “mass sorting” option, you get two mods in one with this space-saver, making it among the best Starfield mods out there.

Unzoomed Dialogue
Hate getting up close and personal with people you've just met? Aversed to the amount of non-consensual eye contact from Starfield's NPCs? Look no further than “No more zoomed in dialogue camera” to solve your antisocial needs.
Download No more zoomed in dialogue camera.
Infinite Trader Stock
Tired of finding another merchant to sell your hard-earned ill-gotten goods after draining the other guy dry? Install “Unlimited Traders” to give all of the traders some deep pockets!
Visible Crosshair
Get a better lock on your targets with a yellow crosshair. Who knew black crosshairs wouldn't be effective in a game set in space?
Sort by Value and Weight
For those obsessed with inventory management, this neat mod lets you sort your items by using a value:mass ratio!

Harder Mode
Last on our list of the best Starfield mods is appropriately nicknamed “Intensefield”. This mod lets you take and receive more damage from enemies, adding more danger to every firefight. Take cover!
