Sigma Will Be Overwatch’s 31st Hero

Today, Blizzard unveiled Sigma, Overwatch's newest hero.

After two teasers, Blizzard has announced Overwatch's 31^st hero – Sigma. According to his Origin Story video, Sigma is an astrophysicist who wants to discover what the universe’s secrets are. Unfortunately for Sigma, he doesn't know that he himself is being used as a living weapon.

Not much else is known about this mysterious new hero, but players have speculated that he'll be a Tank character due to the armor Sigma dons in the video. His abilities will likely be relevant to his role as an astrophysicist, as his abilities and weapons have not yet been announced.

With all of the interesting way's Overwatch's characters interact with one another, we wouldn't be surprised if Sigma was the one who built Zarya's Particle Cannon!
