The Shanghai Dragons defeated the SF Shock in the Overwatch League Stage 3 Finals today.
The Overwatch League has found their Stage 3 Champions as the Shanghai Dragons surprised the San Francisco Shock today at the Blizzard Arena, winning the Grand Final 4-3.
Shanghai, infamous for their 42-game losing streak, have finally found their way to the upper echelon of the Overwatch League. Throughout Season 2 of OWL, Shanghai has improved dramatically from the team they once were. They took home the $200K USD prize pool with their 4-3 win today.
Shanghai started up 3-0, but a valiant SF Shock comeback brought the series to a 3-3 tied score before falling on Dorado.
The Dragons looked comfortable and competent running 2/2/2 compositions, which, considering the leaked role lock coming to the OWL in Stage 4, means they have a leg up on the majority of their competition.
