Poker Face is an obvious favorite out of the group of Contenders teams due to their roster that bolsters several former Overwatch League players. These are already players deserving of playing in a tournament like the Spring Stage Knockouts East, so their success against other Contenders teams is much expected. After finishing first in their group, expectations raised even higher for the team. Seeing them dominate their bracket showed that most of these players still play at an Overwatch League level, so their abilities against even Overwatch League teams should be formidable.

Though Dreamers doesn't have quite as many big names as Poker Face, they still showed some major improvement on the road to the Spring Stage Knockouts East. Coming in 6th place in Contenders Korea barely allowed them to qualify for the Spring Stage Open. Even so, they ended up finishing top 2 in their group in the Open. The improvements they've made make them very unpredictable now, and hard to read where they're likely to end up.
