Overwatch: Spitfire Trade Profit and Gesture to the Seoul Dynasty

The roster changes keep flooding in left and right, but here's the biggest one yet. The London Spitfire just released two of their top players to the Seoul Dynasty. Damage player Junyoung “Profit” Park and tank player Jaehhu “Gesture” Hong have been traded to Seoul, adding even more strength to the team's hero pool.

The London Spitfire were the Grand Champions of the Overwatch League's Inaugural Season, and since then they have fallen from grace. As is in most cases, the Spitfire was a victim to a case of GOATS, where their DPS players couldn't shine in a tank-dominated meta. Now, however, Seoul is now in possession of Profit, Illicit, FITS, Fleta, and Highly, some of the most versatile damage players in the League.

The Seoul Dynasty didn't have a bad season in 2019, but often they struggled to fight higher than the top 10, rarely ever reaching the top five. Although they released Sangbeom “Munchkin” Byun in July, this pick-up of two top-tier players is bound to help. The meta during the 2019 season was less favorable for many of the damage stars we came to love in Season 1. Guard's performance on tank wasn't standout during the 2019 season, but his the Dynasty needs another tank to fill the void of Fissure's absence. It is still early so we don't know if these roster changes will stick, but if they do 2020 will be a promising year for the Dynasty.
