Jeong-ho “MCD” Lee began his Overwatch career with Talon Esports, in the Overwatch Contenders Pacific. Two months after joining the team, he switched ship and play for Team Foxes. The Foxes didn’t manage to do well in the Contenders, and MCD left the team six months after joining it.
MCD’s career took off in 2019, with Element Mystic. This iconic team from the Korean Contenders consistently placed in the top 3 of all tournaments, dominating the Regular Season. Following their good performance in the Contenders, two players from Element Mystic make their grand debuts in the Overwatch League: Se-hwan “ChoiSehwan” Choi, who is now playing with the Guangzhou Charge, and MCD, who joins the Hangzhou Spark.
MCD joins the stacked roster of the Hangzhou Spark. As a support player, he will share playtime with Ho-jin “iDK” Park, Tong “ColdesT” Xiaodong and Liu “M1ka” Jiming. He shares the role of flex support with ColdesT, who joined the Hangzhou Spark last January. Despite being new to the Overwatch League, MCD's had the occasion to prove himself as a good leader, efficient at shot-calling. This may give him the edge over ColdesT to be part of the starting six, once he adapts to this new team.
