Zou “MYKaylee” Zijie, formerly known as Kayleee, joins the Guangzhou Charge for the Overwatch League 2021 Season.
Two days after signing the support players Young-seo “KariV” Park and Chan-hee “Mandu” Kim, the Guangzhou Charge is making one more addition to its team: Zou “MYKaylee” Zijie.
⚡️Next up are the rookies, the emerging young talent that has always been part of our identity.
⚡️The emerging new blood, the fearsome marksman, now let’s welcome Zijie ”MYKaylee” Zou (Former ID: Kayleee) join the team! pic.twitter.com/sfpqPbkekW— Guangzhou Charge (@GZCharge) November 13, 2020
MYKaylee is making his first steps in the Overwatch League. He previously played in the Overwatch Contenders China with the Hangzhou Spark’s academy team, Bilibili Gaming. He didn’t yet have a chance to prove his worth with many teams, but he did put up quite a show facing Jae-hyeok “Carpe” Lee in competitive games. MYKaylee was even accused of cheating, as he managed to outperform the Overwatch World Cup 2018 Champion in a game.
MYKaylee is the second DPS joining the Guangzhou Charge’s roster. The hitscan specialist joins flex DPS player Ou “Eileen” Yiliang, who has been with the team since 2018. Seung-pyo “Rio” Oh and Ki-cheol “Cr0ng” Nam remain at the tanking positions. For the support line, the Guangzhou Charge recently hired two popular faces in the Overwatch League: former Los Angeles Valiant and Toronto Defiant Young-seo “KariV” Park, as well as Chan-hee “Mandu” Kim from New York Excelsior.
