Overwatch 2 Season 6 Top Support Heroes in Terms of Win Rate

Here are some of the Overwatch 2 Season 6 Top Support heroes to get.

Overwatch 2: Invasion arrived a few days ago and brought all kinds of interesting changes. In addition to the PvE mode, the new hero, and loads of new cosmetic items, Overwatch 2 Season 6 also changed the current meta. A lot of heroes received buffs and nerfs, so after analyzing the top-tier DPS and tanks, it’s time for the Overwatch 2 Season 6 top support heroes.

Keep in mind that the new meta has been around for around 10 days now, which means there will most likely be a lot of changes in the future. With that said, we have some data to analyze after the arrival of the new patch, so let’s dive into our analysis.

Brigitte

brigitte

The first name on the list may surprise a lot of players, especially those who’ve paid attention to the changelog. Brigitte was one of the strongest supports in Season 5, so we expected to see a lot of nerfs in Season 6. After Overwatch 2: Invasion became available, we saw 2 new changes to Brigitte:

  • Rally now costs 6% more
  • Barrier Shield’s HP is down from 300 to 250

Those changes seem pretty harsh, and they definitely have an impact on the hero’s success rate. However, if we analyze the data, we can see that she’s still one of the Overwatch 2 Season 6 top support heroes.

Brigitte is a hero that can enable her team to do a lot of damage. She’s really good with a lot of different combos, especially when her team needs to dive into a specific opponent. Ana is a good example because she can be pretty hard to deal with if no one goes for her.

Brigitte is the best support hero in a brawl setup, so everyone who wants to use this in

Overwatch 2 Season 6 will most likely find her there. With that said, the reduction of her shield HP will definitely affect her and her win rate, so we expect it to go down a bit. At the time of writing, it was around 54%.

Zenyatta

One of the Overwatch 2 Season 6 top support heroes is Zenyatta. Even though the hero is very hard to master because he is extremely fragile, people who know how to position themselves and what to expect are performing much better than the rest.

Unlike some of the top support heroes in Season 6 of Overwatch 2 on the list, Zen did not receive any nerfs or buffs. In fact, the hero remains relatively the same following the nerfs from a few weeks ago when Orb of Discord’s maximum range and the time to wear off the target were reduced. Despite the nerfs, Zen continues to have more than a 51.5% win rate, which is really impressive.

Zen has always been one of the supports with the highest damage output. He is also a hero capable of solo killing a lot of the DPS heroes, even those that can come close. Speaking of coming close, Zen’s biggest weakness is that he is vulnerable to dive combos. Enemies that can jump on top of Zen can quickly kill him in seconds. The hero can do well in Brawl, but a lot of people who decide what to go for could choose Lucio instead of Zen, so it really depends on the setup.

Lucio

lucio Best Ultimates

Speaking of the devil, this is the next name on the list regarding Overwatch 2 Season 6 top support heroes. Lucio is a very interesting character that can fit well into the meta. Even though a lot of people consider him to be weaker than the rest, the data reveals that he has more than a 51% win rate.

The main problem with Lucio is the fact that the hero is hard to master. A lot of people do not know how to play with him, which affects his win rate. With that said, those who know what to do can be extremely strong.
Lucio is a hero that does not work well in every meta. In fact, the hero is only good in specific situations, such as in a Brawl combo, but he is extremely weak in a Poke start with the likes of Widowmaker and Hanzo. In other words, it really depends on the setup your team focuses on because the hero is just not good in every scenario.

With that said, Lucio has one of the best ultimates in the game that can definitely win rounds. That’s probably one of the big reasons why his win rate is a lot more impressive than other popular supports in Overwatch 2, such as Kiriko.

In terms of the changes he experienced, Lucio’s crossfade self-healing penalty is now down to 0% instead of 60%, while Amp It Up is active. This change will increase Lucio’s survivability and make him feel even stronger.

Heroes to keep an eye on

Overwatch 2 Lifeweaver Credit: XFire

Even though these are the Overwatch 2 Season 6 top support heroes to get right now in terms of the win rate, there are a few names that we expect to shine a lot more in the upcoming weeks. Starting with the elephant in the room, Lifeweaver looks like one of the best support heroes you can have in the current meta. Although his win rate is still bad due to Season 5, S6 changed almost everything about the hero.

Nowadays, Lifeweaver can do more damage, he is much harder to kill, and his ultimate allows him to be a lot more useful.

Kiriko is also another support whose win rate is not that impressive right now. However, she is slowly becoming very popular in various setups, so we expect her win rate to keep increasing.
