OpTic Gaming $200K Call of Duty Warzone Kickoff Tournament: Schedule, Format, Players, Winners & More

One month after OpTic Gaming's massive $150K MW3 tournament, they are throwing on an even more massive $200K Call of Duty Warzone tournament.

The OpTic Gaming Call of Duty Warzone Kickoff is a two-day tournament with $200K in prize money up for grabs. Day 1 is live now, and Day 2 will kick off on December 13.

Day 1 Tournament Format

Day 1 will consist of five Solo Dolo drops. Each game has a $20K prize, with the winner taking all. Games 1-4 will operate by standard rules. There will be no riot shields, and the games go until only one player remains. But Game 5 will be a bit different.

Game 5 will be a no-holds-barred match. Players can freely team up with one another, pile on opposing players, backstab, lie, cheat, steal, etc. The whole Eddie Guerrero package. With players like Nadeshot competing, teaming up isn't a bad idea. So long as you team up with someone you feel you can trust.

Proximity chat will be on, and the only rule is that players must talk while in-game.

The big winners of Day 1 are SkullFace and the Baka Bros Lucky Chamu and Biffle, winning 4 out of the 5 Solo Dolos.

Stay tuned for the reveals for Day 2's competing trios. One team immediately comes to mind as one of, if not the greatest threat: the Baka Bros. Lucky Chamu and Biffle have already taken home the prize in 2/5 of Day 1's Solo Dolos, and Grand Champion Biffle is arguably the most dominant Call of Duty Warzone player right now. Alongside ShiftyTV, he has been racking up tournament wins like there's no tomorrow, including Al Mazrah's Last Hurrah and 21 Savage's Fright Night. He is going to be a hard competitor to beat.

Day 2 Tournament Format & Prize Pool

Day 2's format will switch from Solo Dolos to Trios in a standard match point tournament for the remaining $100K prize money. Teams must earn enough points to reach the match point and then win a final game to win the tournament.
