As you well know by now, in every self-respecting soulslike there are boss fights to face and Lords of the Fallen is certainly no exception. These battles are, in most cases, difficult to complete if you don't follow a good strategy. For this reason, in this article, we have decided to give you some advice on how to defeat the Lords of the Fallen Scourged Sister Delyth boss, so that you can continue with your adventure and discover what other secrets and bosses the game has to offer.
How to beat Scourged Sister Delyth in Lords of the Fallen
The Lords of the Fallen Scourged Sister Delyth, at first glance, might seem like a simple boss to face, but in reality, this is not the case. In addition to normal damage, she is also capable of inflicting bleed damage which can prove very annoying during the battle. However, there are some things to keep in mind that can help you defeat the Scourged Sister Delyth boss. First of all, as usual, in almost most cases and as we have already seen for the Pieta boss, this boss fight consists of two phases. So, be ready to change your strategy along the way.
Phase 1
During the first phase, Scourged Sister Delyth will make use of slow movements and weapon attacks. If you get too close to her, Scourged Sister Delyth will use two swing attacks to hit you, so our advice is to dodge them and use this moment to land some of your combos, as she will need a cooldown period before resuming her attacks. forces and attack you again.
Another very common attack that Scourged Sister Delyth will refer to during the course of this first phase of the fight is the charged flail weapon ground pound attack. The boss will use this type of attack if you are at medium or long distance from the opponent, as she will try to get closer to you using this move. Even in this case, if you are able to dodge this attack perfectly (you will have to learn the timing well, so don't give up if you don't succeed on the first try), you will have the opportunity to hit the boss to inflict a large amount of damage.
This Lords of the Fallen boss will also use an uppercut flail attack which will be followed by a ground smash. This type of attack is generally used by the boss when you find yourself behind her or to the sides of her after having done a dodge. The first attack of this move is very fast, so be ready, although it is actually very simple to parry. This will allow you to break his posture and have the opportunity to carry out a visceral attack.
Finally, during the end of this first phase, Scourged Sister Delyth will sometimes aggro and make use of a three-hit flail weapon swing attack. However, although it may seem like a difficult move to parry, in reality, it is not: with a little practice and the right timing you will be able to do it and you will not have to worry about taking damage from this type of attack.
Phase 2
Once you have managed to take away half of Scourged Sister Delyth's health, you will enter the second phase of this boss fight. In this phase, you will have to pay particular attention to the fact that the boss will use Radiance magic to increase the speed of his movements and the power of her attacks. However, the attack pattern will be the same as in the first phase. The different thing is that all attacks will start with a dash attack which then turns into a swing attack and then a jumping ground attack.
Furthermore, another attack to take into consideration in this second phase, as it is not present in the first, is a four-hit attack that it will use when Scourged Sister Delyth uses Radiance magic. If you are confident in your dodging skills, all four of these attacks can be dodged; otherwise, since they don't have a very high range, you just need to keep your distance so as not to be hit.
Ultimately, for both phases, the most important advice to follow is to dodge and/or parry his attacks, so you will have to learn the timing of his moves well. In fact, if you use the parry often, this will allow you to land visceral attacks that will cause a lot of damage to Scourged Sister Delyth. As a result, we recommend landing two or three attacks using a heavy weapon and then moving back to range. If, however, you use light weapons, you can also hit this Lords of the Fallen boss with a combo of four or six hits.
You can also rely on items to inflict extra elemental damage on the boss or to increase the power of your weapons. Furthermore, since Scourged Sister Delyth is capable of inflicting bleed damage with her weapon, in addition to not trying to get hit, our advice is to bring a Bleed Resistance Balm with you which will help you take less bleed damage if you are hit.
Once you have defeated Scourged Sister Delyth following the advice we have given you in this guide, the game will reward you for your hard work with prizes that can be used throughout your adventure in Lords of the Fallen. These rewards include Scourged Sister Flail, Scourged Sister Garb, and Vestige Seed.
