ESPN is reporting that Team SoloMid has secured the services of Splyce’s star AD carry Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup.
Kobbe will join the roster and likely replace out of contract AD carry Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen. Kobbe comes with a wealth of experience and a Worlds Quarter Final appearance from the 2019 Worlds under his belt.
Kobbe has been with Splyce since 2015 and has been one of the side’s most consistent performers alongside his former Splyce support partner Tore “Norskeren” Hoel Eilertsen, who himself has now parted with Splyce after joining Excel Esports.
Kobbe joins a TSM team looking to regain some of its swagger in 2020 after a disappointing 2019 saw the LCS side fail to make Worlds. Kobbe does, however, know who he’ll partner at TSM with the side confirming the signing of former support BIofrost after trading Smoothie to CLG.
Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg is likely to continue to be a key pillar in this TSM rebuild after he was granted an equity stake in TSM after signing a contract extension. The team also has top laner Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik under contract until the end of the 2021 season.
The TSM side now looks set, with just the matter of the team needing to select one of its three jungle players. TSM has three NA residency players in this role on its books in Matthew “Akaadian” Higginbotham, Jonathan “Grig” Armao and“Mingyi “Spica” Lu.
