ESPN is reporting that TSM is set to make a sensational swoop to bring former support player Vincent “Biofrost” Wang back to the side with Andy “Smoothie” Ta head in the other direction.
The deal is expected to be confirmed on Monday evening when the global League of Legends free agency window opens.
TSM is reportedly looking to add a new AD carry and jungler to its roster during the offseason, according to ESPN. CLG is not expected to make many changes with only mid laner Tristan “PowerofEvil” Schrage contract due to expire.
Biofrost left TSM two seasons ago when he joined CLG. His time at TSM saw him win three back-to-back LCS titles and competing at the 2016 & 2017 Worlds. Since joining CLG, Biofrost has not had the best of fortune, failing to gel with AD carry partners Tony “Zikz” Gray (now 100Thives coach) and most recently Weldon “Weldon” Green & Heo “Irean” Yeong-cheol.
Biofrost is set to join a TSM side looking to build up again after a disappointing 2019 LCS. Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg is likely to continue to be a key pillar in this TSM rebuild after he was granted an equity stake in TSM after signing a contract extension. The team also has top laner Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik under contract until the end of the 2021 season.
