League of Legends: Counter Logic Gaming to Sign Crown from Immortals

ESPN is reporting that Counter Logic Gaming is finalizing a deal to sign mid laner Lee “Crown” Min-ho from Immortals to replace Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage.

ESPN reports that a number of other teams had an interest in Crown, with Evil Geniuses and FlyQuest among his options. CLG’s recent signing of Andy “Smoothie” Ta seems to have clinched the deal for Crown who will link up with his former teammate. Crown will also join his former coach Kim “SSONG” Sang-soo who also joined CLG this offseason.

As of now, CLG will go into the 2020 season with a roster of:

Coach – SSONG

Top – Kim “Ruin” Hyeong-min

Jungler – Raymond “Wiggily” Griffin

Mid – Crown

ADC – Trevor “stixxay” Hayes

Support – Smoothie

CLG had a mixed 2019 campaign, starting the season with a seventh-place finish in the Spring Split before making changes to the top lane and jungle. This saw the team finish third in the Summer Split, though defeat to underdogs CG in the Regional Finals saw the team miss out on Worlds.

With these additions to the roster, plus the fact the roster is now locked in for the season CLG should be in a great place to build and improve in 2020.
