Cassette Beasts look like a love letter to early Pokemon and classic console RPGs of old. But instead of just capturing monsters, you can record them on your cassette player. And if the going gets tough, you can combine two monsters you've caught.
Cassette Beats is releasing on April 26.
Omega Strikers looks like the lovechild of League of Legends and Windjammers. If you've ever played Windjammers then this description alone should get you excited. It's a 3v3 topdown game with ranked and unranked competition. And you can choose from one of 15 strikers and outplay your rivals.
It releases Free to Play on April 27 for Xbox Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and PC.
The Karters 2 Turbo Charged
The Karters 2 is the sequel to The Karters and is Crash Team Racing meets Mario Kart, aiming to be the ultimate Kart game. Since the release of the original in 2018, the team at Pixel Edge Games has worked hard on improving their formula in this from the ground-up reboot.
The game will feature 12 Game Modes, 16+ race tracks at launch, Custom Tracks and Steam Workshop support, and a split-screen for both local and online multiplayer with up to 6 players.
There's no release date yet but expect more info soon.
Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly
Coffee Talk is one of those cozy games that doesn't come along as often. You play as a barista in an alternative Seattle and you spend your days chatting away with the inhabitants of this city somewhere between fantasy and reality.
Episode One is already out and Episode Two will be available on April 20th, 2024. Coming to Xbox and Game Pass.
Homestead Arcana is Harvest Moon meets Metal Gear Survive. It doesn't sound like the most palatable combination, but it does look intriguing. You're playing a master of the arcane and it is your mission to rid the land of the miasma.
You do that by growing plants and venturing into that miasma to earn resources. Hard to pinpoint what the game's like but check out the trailer! Homestead Arcana is releasing on April 21 and also coming to Game Pass.
Closer the Distance
Closter the Distance is a slice of live simulator aiming to tell a story about connections of friends and family after tragedy struck them. After an accident, you play Angela who's trying her best to help those closest to her overcome and live with their grief.
There is no release date yet but Closer the Distance will release soon on PC and Xbox.
The Explorator is a fantasy FPS, where you explore the island of Ospolis. It is said that underneath the island is the ancient city of Atlantis. Shame that this island is overrun with all kinds of monsters and goblins. So what can you do? Arm yourself and fight back to uncover the secret city.
While there's no release date yet, you can expect The Explorator to come out soon on Xbox and Steam.
The whimsical, funny, and ridiculous fantasy version of Paper's Please as it seems. You're being put into the skin of a 12-year-old, meaning the guardhouse of a magical kingdom while your father is off to do very important things.
Your decisions will have dire consequences! It all comes down to what kind of weirdo you let into the city. There are apparently 100 for you to prod and scan. There is no release date yet, but we'll keep you posted on that. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S.
Kabaret is a dark fantasy adventure game inspired by South Asian folklore. You'll listen to them, dwell on their stories and perform tea ceremonies to break the ancient curse that binds them. It is a visual feast and puts an interesting spin on the adventure game genre.
The game's already out, so go check it out. It's available on Steam and Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
The Last Case of Benedict Fox
In the Last Case of Benedict Fox, you play as the titular Benedict Fox and use your demon companion to uncover a dark secret. You'll explore a dark mansion and try to uncover the circumstances of a grisly murder.
But this isn't your usual detective adventure, you'll explore Lovecraftian nightmares in a Metroidvania-style adventure inspired by Tim Burton movies like A Nightmare Before Christmas.
Combat also seems way more involved than your usual sidescrolling adventure. Tactical melee combat, a gun, and a bunch of items to use and toy around with to fight against demonic horrors and shady figures that lurk in this nightmarish dimension.
The Last Case of Benedict Fox releases on 27 April on PC and Xbox Series X/S and coming day one on Game Pass.
