Lies of P is a very punishing game, especially in the first few hours of the game. In fact, as soon as you are catapulted into the world of this reinterpretation of the Pinocchio fairy tale, even the weakest enemies could represent a problem, without considering the first bosses you will have to face to continue the story. For this reason, knowing how to level up fast in Lies of P can certainly be a very useful thing, especially if you are having difficulties.
In this article, in fact, in addition to explaining in a general way how to level up in Lies of P, we will also give you some useful advice that you can follow in order to speed up the process and make your enemies easier to face. Warning: even by leveling up, the enemies will still be difficult to face, so we suggest you take a look at this article, in which we list some useful tips regarding combat.
Lies of P how to level up
As soon as you have started your adventure and learned about the existence of Stargazers (similar to bonfires or lanterns which, as we explained in a previous article, are useful for fast travel within the game), you can start leveling your character. As usual, this is actually a very simple thing to do. All you have to do, in fact, is to attribute a certain specific number of Ergos to the various attributes present. Obviously, you can choose any attribute to improve, but keep in mind that with each improvement, the number of Ergos to use for the next one will always be greater.
So, once you have reached the Hotel Krat for the first time and have spoken to the NPC Sophia, whenever you have the desire or need to level up, you will have to go to this place. Although this is a somewhat annoying mechanic, the use of the Stargazers and the Moonphase Pocket Watch object will make everything a little less tedious, as you will be able to move more easily and quickly. However, as you progress through the story, the possibility of leveling up the Stargazers will also be unlocked, but you will have to reach a more advanced stage of the game.
Finally, a very important thing to take into consideration is the fact that, once you decide to increase a certain attribute, you will not have the possibility to go back and undo your move. Consequently, we suggest you pay close attention to the attributes you want to improve, so as not to find yourself in unwelcome situations. However, once you reach a later stage in the game, Lies of P will give you the option to respec, making sure you can reset all the levels and restore the Ergo spent.
Lies of P how to level up fast
Once we have provided you with a general overview of the mechanics of how to level up in Lies of P, the time has come to talk about how to level up fast in Lies of P. Again for the same reasons that we have illustrated previously, these are notions that will certainly be very useful to you, especially at the beginning of your adventure. If, for example, you are unable to overcome an area or a boss, it is likely that it is because your character is too weak to face those particular enemies and it is therefore at this moment that you know some ways on how to level up fast in Lies of P could be a great resource to draw from.
Krat Central Station Plaza mobs
The first way we recommend you to use to level up quickly in Lies of P is to take out all the enemies in the first game area. This area, in fact, has a good amount of enemies that can be killed, which allows you to obtain Ergo, the in-game currency that allows you to level up.
What you will have to do, therefore, is to first eliminate the ranged mobs which are the ones that can cause you the most problems, and then focus on those that attack melee. Once you have cleaned one area, you can move on to the next, and so on until you have cleaned the entire area. The Krat Central Station Plaza is a great place to farm Ergo and get familiar with the game mechanics, so we recommend repeating the entire process more than once so that you can advance up to 20 levels.
Identify a route
Precisely because of what was said in the previous point, another piece of advice we want to give you is to identify a route that is effective and that allows you to earn enough Ergo to be able to level up. If we always take into consideration the same area, the Krat Central Station Plaza, you can start your route at the initial Stargazer, proceeding to the next one, and then repeat the entire process as many times as you want. In fact, every time a Stargazer is used the enemies respawn, giving you the possibility of accumulating, on average, between 1600 and 2000 Ergo per route.
Following the line of what was said previously, making use of the Stargazers is certainly an excellent way to level up quickly in Lies of P. In fact, in addition to serving as checkpoints, the Stargazers are also useful because they allow you to have bonuses, as well as being capable of reviving all enemies that have been eliminated in that area. By doing so, you will have the opportunity to defeat a potentially infinite number of enemies, which will allow you to acquire a lot of Ergo that will be useful for leveling up.
Level up the right stats
It might seem like a paradox, but to level faster, one of the methods we recommend you adopt is to level. But what do we mean? We will explain it to you in detail. In Lies of P, there are different stats that can be improved, each of which has its own strengths. While these attributes are important for building your favorite build, some of them should be prioritized over others, as they allow you to level faster. As a result, we recommend you focus primarily on the Vitality, Vigor, Motivity, and Technique attributes.
Moonlight Town farming
In case you are not at the very beginning of the game, but are already in an intermediate phase, our advice is to visit every single corner of the Moonlight Town region. This region, in fact, is considered one of the best for farming Ergo, thanks to the presence of many enemies which however are quite simple to defeat. For this reason, we recommend that you take a few trips around this area and find the most effective route, then make use of the Stargazers and start the process again.
To start, go to the initial Stargazer that is found as soon as you enter this area. Head into the house on your left and kill the enemy inside so that he can't hit you from behind. Once this is done, head to the stairs located in the distance outside the house to defeat the ranged enemy before he can cause you any trouble, and then be free to focus on all the other enemies present in this area. Once there are no more enemies, you can interact with the Stargazer to make them respawn and restart your route.
