Fortnite Winterfest 2021: Where to Find the Yule Log

Fortnite’s latest Winterfest event is underway, and there’s a lot to digest. On top of a slew of new winter-themed items and gameplay elements, Epic Games unveiled 15 Quests for players to complete during the event’s timeframe. Each finished task yields XP toward your Chapter 3 Season 1 level.
The first Quest of Winterfest 2021 requires players to warm themselves at the Yule log in the Cozy Cabin. Some players might be confused by the wording, but it’s a simple challenge with worthwhile rewards. Today, we’ll explain how you can accomplish this Quest and earn yourself the easiest 18K XP in Fortnite history.
How to Warm Yourself at the Yule Log in Cozy Cabin
Loading into Fortnite during Winterfest 2021 brings you to a lovely wonderland filled with snow-covered trees and holiday decorations. This particular Quest lies within the previously mentioned Cozy Cabin located in the distance. To get there, simply click the Snowflake icon located in the upper-right corner next to the ‘V-Bucks’ menu. Next, you need to click the ‘Visit Lodge’ option on the right side.
You’re now in the Cozy Cabin, where you can open a new present featuring a free in-game reward each day. Sitting in the chair is Winterfest 2021’s mascot — Sgt. Winter. He acts as a hardcore Santa Claus for anyone visiting his humble abode. The Yule log sits in the fireplace positioned next to Sgt. Winter. However, you cannot click on the fireplace to complete the challenge. You first have to click on Sgt. Winter, which brings you closer to him.
The camera zooms closer to Sgt. Winter, allowing you to click on the fireplace and bring that into focus. Once that’s done, the Yule log Quest is complete, and you’ll receive 18K XP. Additionally, you will earn 20 XP every few seconds while viewing the fireplace, as shown in the featured image.
That Quest is merely one of many others available during Winterfest 2021. While it’s undoubtedly the easiest, there are 14 others for you to complete between now and January 6. Be sure to check back with ESTNN for more guides and updates!
