Fortnite Winter Royale 2019: NA East Confirmed Duos and Start Times

The NA East competitive Fortnite region features some of the most recognizable names across the entire scene. Players like Tfue, Ninja and Bugha are just a few who’ve made a name for themselves as Fortnite players out of this region. With the Winter Royale 2019 rapidly approaching, let’s take a look at the format, times and confirmed duos that will be competing this weekend.

Start Time: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Eastern Time – 5 PM to 9 PM

Pacific Time – 2 PM to 6 PM

Greenwich Mean Time – 10 PM to 2 AM

Match Cap: 15

Point System: Scoring varies per day. Refer to this article for more information.

TSM ZexRow and TSM Vinny

One of the standout duos in Fortnite history is none other than the combination of Anthony “ZexRow” Colandro and Vinny “Vinny” Gilligan. The two placed third at Katowice Royale 2019 back in March and also achieved ninth at the Fortnite World Cup. They recently reunited to participate alongside Mack “MackWood” Aesoph and Jonathan “Calculator” Weber for the Chapter 2 Season 1 FNCS. Their squad took second, which transitions the long-time duo or ZexRow and Vinny back together for the Winter Royale 2019.

NRG Zayt and Ghost Saf

Fortnite Zayt Saf

It's difficult to look passed Williams “Zayt” Aubin and Rocco “Saf” Morales as the best duo in Fortnite history. They have played together basically since launch and have some impressive accolades to their credit. Zayt and Saf took second place at WSOE 3, first at Katowice Royale 2019 and fourth at the Fortnite World Cup. Their success as a duo speaks for itself as they are undoubtedly the most accomplished to date. Expect some fireworks out of these two at the Winter Royale.

FaZe Dubs and FaZe Megga

Danny “Dubs” Walsh and Noam “Megga” Ackenine are yet another long-standing duo who've stood the test of time. They competed together dating further back than their tenure with FaZe Clan. Dubs and Megga's most significant accomplishment as a duo is their seventh-place finish at the Fortnite World Cup. These two are most definitely a duo to look out for considering how much Fortnite has evolved since the last relevant duos event.

TSM MackWood and Vanguard Calc

The duo of Mack “MackWood” Aesoph and Jonathan “Calculator” Weber made a significant splash at the Fortnite World Cup. These two qualified for the most significant event in Fortnite history in the eleventh hour. They proceeded to earn a Victory Royale at the World Cup and finished in 16th place. MackWood and Calc have flourished since then and will likely be in the mix at the end of each Winter Royale session.

Liquid Stretch and SEN Bugha

The duo of Stretch and Fortnite World Cup Champion, Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf, is relatively new. Bugha had recently competed alongside Cayden “Carose” Bradford but has since moved on. Bugha and Stretch have yet to compete in a legitimate duos event, so this is new territory for these talented young players. In recent months, these two have competed in the Fortnite Champion Series events with inconsistent results. The Winter Royale will provide a substantial stage to show how far they have advanced.

Tfue and Scoped

Turner “Tfue” Tenney remains a talented Fortnite player and one of the most popular streamers on Twitch. After deciding not to reignite his partnership with Dennis “Cloak” Lepore, Tfue went in search of a replacement. It did not take long as Tfue ultimately landed on Scoped as his partner for the Winter Royale. We do not know much about Scoped other than some impressive Solo Cash Cup results. Tfue and Scoped have managed to play well in professional scrims, so anything is possible.

Khanada and MSF Clix

The sky's the limit for these two unbelievably talented players. Cody “Clix” Conrad and Khanada have taken two separate paths to the top of the Fortnite food chain. Khanada's talent is almost immeasurable, considering his success in Solo Cash Cups. He was too young to compete at the Fortnite World Cup in 2019, so he had to wait patiently. Clix finished 18th in Solos at the World Cup and is one of the best players in the game. This partnership combines insane mechanics and precision aim, which is perfect for the Winter Royale event.
