Fortnite Winter Royale 2019: EU Confirmed Duos and Start Times

Europe possesses possibly the best pool of talent in competitive Fortnite. The region consistently features the largest prizes as well due to the number of players as well. With players like benjyfishy, Mongraal and MrSavage, there’s no doubt that we can expect some high scores during the upcoming Winter Royale. Let’s take a look at some of the confirmed duos that will be participating in the competition.

Start Time: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Greenwich Mean Time – 4 PM to 8 PM

Eastern Time – 11 AM to 3 PM

Pacific Time – 8 AM to 12 PM

Match Cap: 15

Point System: Scoring varies per day. Refer to this article for more information.

NRG Benjyfishy and FaZe Mongraal

Benjy “Benjyfishy” Fish and Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson split respectively from Martin “MrSavage” Foss Andersen and Dmitri “Mitr0” Van de Vrie in search of new opportunities. As two of the most talented Fortnite players in the world, it only makes sense for Benjy and Mongraal to play together. These two have some of the best mechanics and communication in the game, which makes for a deadly combo. It's hard to see benjyfishy and Mongraal as the two to beat this weekend.

NRG MrSavage and MSF Endretta

Another top duo worth looking out for in the EU region is that of Martin “MrSavage” Foss Andersen and Endretta. MrSavage scrambled to find a replacement for his former partner, Benjyfishy, and landed on Endretta. Both players are Fortnite World Cup finalists and have seen varied results since. Overall these two are looking to catch lightning in a bottle for the three days of the Winter Royale.

Crr and Mitr0

Neither Chris “crr” Williams nor Dmitri “Mitr0” Van de Vrie are strangers to success in competitive Fortnite. Mitr0 has an accomplished history with his Fortnite World Cup, where he took sixth place alongside Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson. Crr and Mitr0 formed a team during the second Fortnite Champion Series and experiences long bouts of greatness. Once the FNCS concluded, Mitr0 and Crr stuck together as partners and are ready to go up against Europe's best.

COOLER Aqua and E11 Stompy

Fortnite World Cup Duos Champion, David “Aqua” Wang split from his duo of Emil “nyhrox” Bergquist shortly after their win in New York. Aqua separated from nyhrox in favor of Klaus “Stompy” Konstanzer. Both players performed well at the Fortnite World Cup and can speak similar languages for the sake of consistent communication. Although they have yet to compete in a legitimate event, the talent is unquestionable out of Aqua and Stompy.

Solary Airwaks and Solary Nikof

Karim “Airwaks” Benghalia and Nicolas “Nikof” Frejavise have accomplished a lot as a duo in their own right. These two placed 29th at the Fortnite World Cup and have stuck together since. Their most recent competitive Fortnite endeavor yielded a third-place finish at the Chapter 2 Season 1 Fortnite Champion Series. This meta perfectly suits a duo like Airwaks and Nikof.
