Fortnite: Mysterious “Alpaca” Mobility Item To Appear In Season 7

Leakers detail a mysterious new item in Fortnite’s latest season.

Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7 introduced many new weapons and items into the Battle Royale mode. The Rail Gun, Pulse Rifle and Recon Scanner are just a few to name, but the season is young, and Epic Games has significant plans ahead. Some leaks of late have referenced much-needed map changes and new items to keep the game fresh and enjoyable for all. One particular addition shrouded in mystery revolves around a new form of mobility with a peculiar code name.

Alpaca Mobility Item Coming Soon

The extraterrestrial beings seem to have brought more than just Saucers and futuristic weapons. Fortnite leaker HYPEX has started learning about an upcoming item codenamed “Alpaca,” a new mobility item to debut in Season 7. Details surrounding this item are few and far between, but we have some vague hints about what players can expect.

  • – It creates a no gravity area when you throw it
  • – It launches you in the air if you keep jumping

This new mobility item seems to have an “area-of-effect” property, similar to that of the Storm Flip from Season X, where it spreads to a specific size before subsiding. In this case, the area will grant no gravity to those within it, meaning they could float and perhaps launch through the air with repeated jumps.
