Vibin has lasted all summer. The game’s content itself has gotten fuller than ever with a crammed loot pool of weapons and mobility. There have been loads of crossovers too. However, Fortnite C3 Season 4 is coming up quickly now though.
As usual, Epic hasn’t shown off too much of the new season just yet. However, we do have quite a few leaks and hints at what’s coming next. This season’s entire Battle Pass leaked early. What is the Fortnite C3 Season 4 Release date?
Fortnite C3 Season 4 release date is scheduled for September 18. This is probably the start date.
As usual, Epic hasn’t given an exact end and start date for the new season of Fortnite. However, the in-game quests and Battle Pass have a scheduled end date on September 17. There’s sometimes a day or so’s delay. Between a season-ending and a new one starting, there’s a bit of a gap.
This probably won’t be a full-on downtime period without the game, like the infamous black hole event. The game just has a few hours at the end of the day before the downtime for a new update starts.
This gives players just a few more weeks to get their Battle Pass finished up. The Dragon Ball quests with their level-up rewards are going to be useful for anyone deep in the bonus tiers since those tiers have huge gaps between levels to unlock the bonus rewards. There are also still weekly and vibin quests. These are great sources of XP for those last tiers.
Will there be a Fortnite C3 Season 3 Finale Event?
Some seasons in Fortnite end with huge finale spectaculars. These haven’t been as common in recent seasons, but they still show up regularly enough to be expected by a lot of fans. The biggest evidence we have for the season-ending right now might be an upcoming update. A patch towards the end of the season is currently scheduled. This could be for more new content. However, this late in the day it might be for an event.
Usually, assets and other bits for an event are put into the game a bit before the season ends. The upcoming update would line up with an end-of-season event. However, we can’t be certain that’s what’s happening. It might just be an update!
Ultimately, we don’t know if there will be an event for the Fortnite C3 Season 4 release date until Epic announces one way or the other.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 Leaks and Rumours
Heading into any new season we start to see clues. Between dataminers and Epic teasing stuff, information starts flowing for what’s coming with Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. we always get a bit of a look at what’s coming soon in the next season. Sometimes these leaks are just speculation, but there are some compelling theories about what’s coming next.
The Reality Tree Rumours
At the moment, the Reality Tree is growing all over the island. This is turning different POIs into throwback areas. It’s brought back classic POIs. Since this tree has been growing week by week, some expect to see the tree take over the island even more. Fortnite C3 Season 4 is going to line up with Fortnite’s fifth birthday too. So a nostalgia season is possible.
Adding more credence to a throwback season is some recent datamining. Items and features that haven’t been used in ages have received updates in the files for seemingly no reason. This includes planes, 50v50 game mode, the storm king, shockwave launcher, old POIs, and even the much-hated mechs.
This could make for an interesting map and item loot pool. It’s even possible some of the weapons that were around before this Chapter make a comeback.
In terms of a Battle Pass, throwback doesn’t really give us much. Epic isn’t bringing back old skins in a new Battle Pass, as they just don’t do that. However, we might see new versions of Fortnite’s biggest characters like Jonsy and maybe even Peely.
The Marvel Theory
A lot of fans have been speculating that some of Epic’s Marvel content will be making a comeback. Past Marvel mythics have received updates. Epic has also been using marvel skins pretty extensively in its Battle Passes. Although, it might feel like overkill to have two entirely separate seasons dominated by Marvel. On top of that, the Fortnite comic book crossovers are now working with DC on a Batman crossover.
Marvel content might be coming this season. Most seasons lately have featured one Disney property or another. A whole season feels a bit repetitive, but that’s not to say it isn’t possible though and Epic could still come out with this.
Has the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 Trailer Leaked?
An apparent leak for a Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 trailer made the rounds recently. But it’s unknown if this is real. Some have stood by it. However, there are some reasons to not take it too seriously. It's been reported on as real but is definitely fan-created.

The trailer features numerous Marvel superheroes. There are two versions of Spider-Man from the Spider-Verse movie series, and some other superheroes like the Vision are included here. This would indicate a Marvel-heavy season. However, the trailer was posted by a digital artist. This person makes Fortnite-style models and art which are hard to tell apart from the real thing. They often outdo Epic. It’s likely that the trailer was a way of showcasing their work, rather than a genuine leak.
You only have to look at their past work to see how easily they can create real-looking Fortnite scenes:
