Fortnite: Bugha Donates Item Shop Code Earnings To Hospitalized Children

Bugha gives back to those in need.

Fortnite’s first-ever Solo World Cup Champion – Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf – recently announced a charitable contribution to Gamers Outreach, which helps provide children in hospitals with high-tech gaming equipment. Bugha, who won $3M USD two years ago and became an instant icon, worked alongside the nonprofit organization to provide entertainment for countless hospitalized children. He did so by donating all earnings from his Item Shop code to Gamers Outreach. This generous contribution allowed the organization to purchase and install ten gaming units in hospitals across the United States.

Bugha’s Contribution to the Less Fortunate

The World Cup Champion took to Twitter with exciting news regarding his partnership with Gamers Outreach.
“Thank you to everyone who has used my code in the item shop to support @GamersOutreach,” he wrote. “With your help, we’ve been able to purchase ten gaming units for children in hospitals across the U.S. We’ve got more fun stuff coming soon in 2021 with Gamers Outreach!”

The nonprofit organization notably raised more than $3M USD in 2020 alone to fund its many projects, all of which revolve around gaming. It’s refreshing to see a player like Bugha use his platform to benefit such an exceptional cause. Gaming is an escape for most, and it provides hours of entertainment. Gamers Outreach’s patented GO Karts are mobile video game setups explicitly designed for hospitals. Now, children in unfortunate situations can get the full gaming experience thanks to one of Fortnite’s top players.
