Here’s a quick guide on how to play the Godzilla x Kong event and a list of all the rewards in CoD MW3


Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 brings a new season for it’s player-base. With the end of Season 2 only a few days away, the developers plan to begin Season 3 with new events and updates. Activision has done a pretty good job of providing players with new content and events. This has significantly helped in keeping the community active. With Season 3 approaching fast, a new event, the Godzilla x King: Battle for Hallowed Earth, has begun in the game.

CoD MW3 Godzilla x Kong Event – All Rewards and How to Play

The event began on April 3 and will end on April 10, making it a week long. This isn’t the first time Call of Duty has had an event with Godzilla. Warzone has seen some major updates on their maps which includes Kong and Godzilla fighting as the battle royale goes on. Besides that, Activision is always trying to add crossover events with other franchises and add interesting game modes.

This event is pretty similar to the previous ones in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. It involves completing challenges and earning XP. One important factor here is that compared to previous events, the amount of XP required to redeem items is far less. That means with less effort and grinding players can unlock all the rewards within the one-week timeframe.

Godzilla x Kong Event – Rewards

The event has tem rewards that players can earn. These are completely free and will only require players to complete certain challenges. By completing these challenges they can redeem the items with XP. The rewards include stickers, decals, accessories and even weapon blueprints. So this is definitely something you may want to spend some time on.

Here is a list of all the rewards including the amount of XP required to get them:

  • “Journey to the Hollow Earth” Weapon Sticker – 10,000 XP
  • Double XP Token – 21,000 XP
  • “Drownviper” Large Decal – 33,100 XP
  • Double Weapon XP Consumable – 45,500 XP
  • “Titanus Doug” Weapon charm – 61,000 XP
  • “Titanus Tiamat” Large Decal – 77,100 XP
  • “Monarch” Emblem – 95,000 XP
  • “Majestic Hollow Earth” Calling Card – 114,500 XP
  • Double Battle Pass XP token – 136,000 XP
  • “Heavy Metal” Weapon Camo – 160,000 XP

Godzilla x Kong Event – How to Play

As we mentioned above, this event will work the same way previous ones did. Players will be tasked with completing certain challenges within the event’s timeframe. Completing these challenges will reward players with XP. The earned XP can be used to redeem the rewards listed above.

If players buy the featured skin bundles for the event, which are the Kong Armor and Shimo Bundles, they will be given a 5000 XP bonus per match. The bundles can be bought from the store for 2400 CoD Points each. This is quite helpful and allows players to complete the event much faster.

As the event will end on April 10, players will not be able to claim any of the above-mentioned rewards after that date. Therefore leaving players with one week to earn as many items as they can.
