Rebirth Island made its debut in Call of Duty (COD): Black Ops. The map instantly became a fan favorite as it provides players with high speed action and fast gameplay. Rebirth Island was so popular that it made its way into Black Ops 2 and Black Ops: Cold War. Rebirth Island also made is debut in Call of Duty: Warzone and Warzone Mobile back in season one.

Rebirth Island gained huge success in Warzone as well. The battle royale map allowed players to get into engagements quickly and get tons of early kills. Additionally, Rebirth Island gave veteran COD players a hit of nostalgia making the Island popular among them. New fans also got to enjoy the iconic map as it provided them with the same thrill the older players experienced.

Warzone teased the map on X, formerly known as Twitter, with a photo of the points of interest (POIs) that will come with Rebirth Island’s re-release. The map looks more or less the same as it was before. The map seems to be the same as it was during the Vanguard event.

Rebirth Island has a new POI named Stronghold near the South West corner of the map. Industry and Chemical Engineering are also new POIs on Rebirth Island. Other than that, Rebirth Island stays mostly untouched. Fans will be happy as Rebirth is what made Warzone what it was when it was out. The map may be able to save Warzone from the dry spell it has been going through.
