Celebrate 7 Years Of Vermintide Leading Up To Darktide’s Release

Here's what's in store from Warhammer 40,000 to celebrate seven years of Vermintide!

On November 30, Fatshark will release the heavily-anticipated Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Darktide's release will mark seven years of Warhammer 40,000: Vermintide content.

What better way to prepare for Darktide than month-long Vermintide festivities?

7 Years of Tide

Last month, Humble Bundle ran a Warhammer: Vermintide Franchise Bundle deal. If you missed out on it, Fatshark has you covered in November.

All month long, there will be a celebration of the Vermintide series. There will be tons of things to do in the world of Vermintide leading up to the release of Darktide.

If you're a Magic the Gathering fan, these festivities will not include anything related to the MTG X Warhammer collaboration. You can't win them all. And besides, most of it will be free. Who doesn't like free?

Vermintide 2 Free For A Limited Time

From November 3 to November 7, everyone can get a copy of Vermintide 2 for free on Steam. If you spent 1 USD on that Warhammer: Vermintide Franchise Bundle, you'd have the first two games in the series for a buck. Make sure you pick this up before it's too late. You'll want a copy of Vermintide 2 for what's to come next week.

Also, snatch up the Chaos Wastes content pack for Vermintide 2. It's not an official part of the celebration, but it's a free update available for Vermintide 2.

Free Vermintide 2 DLC

On November 8, Fatshark will release the Trail of Treachery. It's yet another free DLC content pack for Vermintide 2. You have to hand it to Fatshark for how they've managed the Vermintide series over the years. It's reminiscent of Techland's management of the first Dying Light. It's always great to see developers taking care of their franchises years after the fact and treating the player base to some freebies.

2 Weeks Of Double Exp

In most games, killing rats is typically something you do in the first hour and never again. But in the world of Vermintide, vermin extermination is all but a career.

From November 3 to November 16, Vermintide 2 players can enjoy double exp during their rat-whacking endeavors.

Massive Discounts on Vermintide 2 DLC

Vermintide 2 is already a pretty big game. But the game is more than double in content now with all that DLC that has come out. Try the base game first, and if you like what you see, there are some bundles you might want to consider picking up.

The Starter Bundle includes Vermintide 2, two of the most popular DLC mission packs, and a weapon pack: Shadows over Bögenhafen, Back to Ubersreik, and Forgotten Relics.

Since you should already have a copy of Vermintide 2, you'll only need to pay for the DLC and weapon packs. And it will only set you back $9.96. That's a 62% discount.

If you really love Vermintide 2 and want to marathon its content before Darktide comes out, then the Content Bundle is for you. For $39.93, a 65% discount, you can enjoy all there is to Vermintide 2.

Darktide Pre-Order Beta

Not everyone managed to get a spot in Darktide's closed beta in early October. If you can't wait until November 30, here's a chance to experience Darktide a little sooner.

From November 17- November 29, everyone who pre-orders Darktide will gain access to the Darktide pre-launch beta. Not only is this sure to be a blast, but players will also be able to help Fatshark fine-tune Darktide a bit more before release by providing valuable feedback.

Free Devoted Rejects Darktide DLC Pack

Get a free Darktide cosmetic pack just by owning Vermintide 1 or 2.

Everyone who owns a copy of Vermintide or Vermintide 2 will receive the Devoted Rejects DLC for Darktide for free. Starting November 30, the Devoted Rejects cosmetic pack will be available after logging into Darktide for the first time.

There's never been a better time to be a Vermintide fan. Enjoy the festivities, and we'll see you when Darktide releases!
