This article delves into the best Navia team comps to bring out the full potential of the newest Geo DPS in Genshin Impact
Prior to the release of Navia, it had been two years since Genshin Impact players had seen a new Geo character. As a result, the hype surrounding her arrival was immense. However, due to the typically limited interactions and dynamics of Geo reactions in the game, expectations for Navia were relatively on the lower side. Yet, there remained a sliver of hope that Navia might make the Geo element’s gameplay a tad bit more interesting.
Indeed, Navia proved to be an exceptional addition to the game's Geo roster. Hailing from the land of Fontaine, she not only won the players' hearts with her emotional storyline but also made her presence felt on the battlefield through her impressive damage output. Here, we'll explore some of the best party setups to make the most of Navia's abilities.
Best Navia Team Comps
Navia is a DPS who scales off ATK and has her elemental skill buffed by Crystallize shard. Therefore, her teams cannot be mono geo and she would benefit from being paired with Cryo, Hydro, Electro, and Pyro characters. This is a fresh change from the typical Geo DPS we are used to seeing (yes, we are looking at you, Itto!) With the right team and rotation, crystallized shards can be generated very quickly and Navia’s damage will be able to shine.
Navia + Xiangling + Bennett + Albedo
In this team, Navia acts as the main DPS. Xiangling is a sub-DPS and Pyro enabler. Albedo acts as an off-field and burst sub-DPS, as well as a GEO enabler, and provides faster Crystalize reactions with his skill. Benny heals and buffs. The team gives double resonance of Pyro and Geo, both significantly enhancing the team’s overall output damage.
As for the rotation, start by placing Albedo's Elemental Skill flower on the field. Afterward, use Bennett's Elemental Burst followed by his Elemental Skill. Next, switch to Xiangling and unleash her Elemental Burst and then his Elemental Skill. Then, switch to Navia and initiate her Elemental Burst, followed by her Elemental Skill. Make sure to collect Crystalize shards during Navia’s Normal Attacks, as it will create stacks for her skill. Albedo’s burst shall be used whenever available.
The following gear shall be used on the characters:
Character | Artifact Set | Weapon | Substitute |
---|---|---|---|
Navia | Nighttime Whisper In The Echoing Wood | Verdict or Tidal Shadow | – |
Xiangling | Emblem Of Severed Fate | The Catch | Not recommended to be substituted |
Bennett | Noblesse Oblige | Aquila Favonia or Favonius Sword | Not recommended to be substituted |
Albedo | Husk of Opulent Dreams | Cinnabar Spindle or
Primordial Jade Cutter |
Zhongli or Geo Traveller |
Navia + Furina + Zhongli + Bennett
While this team is not the most free-to-play friendly, the performance is absolutely insane! Navia is the main DPS while Furina is a sub-DPS as well as a buffer. Zhongli is a burst DPS and shield while Bennett heals and buffs the teams. The Geo resonance from Navia and Zhongli also helps with the overall damage output.
The following sequence should be followed: Use Zhongli's Elemental Skill for the shield. Use Furina's long-lasting Elemental Skill and Burst on the field. Following this, switch to Bennett and activate his Skill and Burst. Use Zhongli’s burst if available. Lastly, switch to Navia, pick any Crystalize shards, and use her Skill, followed by executing Normal Attacks until she attains Geo infusion due to her first passive. Use her Elemental Burst whenever it becomes available during the rotation.
The following gear shall be used on the characters:
Character | Artifact Set | Weapon | Substitute |
---|---|---|---|
Navia | Nighttime Whisper In The Echoing Wood | Verdict or Tidal Shadow | – |
Furina | Golden Troupe | Splendor of Tranquil Waters or Fleuve Cendre Ferryman | Xingqiu or Yelan |
Zhongli | Tenacity of the Millelith or Noblesse Oblige | Black Tassel | Albedo or Geo Traveller |
Bennett | Noblesse Oblige | Aquila Favonia or Favonius Sword | Not recommended to be substituted |
Navia + Xingqiu + Fischl + Bennett
Navia benefits from any characters who do elemental damage off field, that's why she loves Xingqiu and Fischl for being hydro and electro enablers respectively. While this team lacks the GEO resonance, it makes up for it with Navia’s 4th passive which gives her ATK boost. Electro Charged reactions will continuously take place alongside Crystallize.
Use Xingqiu’s elemental skill and burst, which will apply hydro to the enemies. Afterward, switch to Benny, and use his burst and skill. Switch over to Navia and keep using her elemental skill and normal attacks until the Hydro application runs out. The overall damage output from every character will be amazing, especially if your Fischl is C6.
The following gear shall be used on the characters:
Character | Artifact Set | Weapon | Substitute |
---|---|---|---|
Navia | Nighttime Whisper In The Echoing Wood or Archaic Petra | Verdict or Tidal Shadow | – |
Xingqiu | Emblem Of Severed Fate | Sacrificial Sword | Yelan |
Fischl | Golden Troupe | The Stringless | Kuki Shinobu |
Bennett | Noblesse Oblige | Aquila Favonia or Favonius Sword | Not recommended to be substituted |
As seen above, Benny is an extremely important member of Navia’s teams. This is because Benny boosts her ATK while also keeping her protected from heals. If you have Benny with Navia, there’s a lot of flexibility to choose teammates and play around. A geo character like Zhongli or Albedo not only helps with triggering Geo Resonance but also allows Crystallized reactions to proc faster. Other characters like Furina, Fischl, Xiangling, and Xingqiu are good teammates due to being elemental enablers.
In conclusion, having the best team for Navia requires more than just choosing the right teammates. Your understanding of the character synergies, and gaming skills are extremely important to master these teams in the Spiral Abyss. The game has an ever-evolving meta, and you should utilize Navia to her best while you still can. For more guides and gaming news, keep an eye on ESTNN!
