AFK Journey Healers: Who Should You Pull for Your Team Formation?

AFK Journey is a recently released open-world action role-playing game (ARPG) that is trending worldwide for all the right reasons. Developed by FARLIGHT and Lilith Games, it is a free to play game on two consoles including Android and PC. Being an ARPG, heroes are the most important aspect of the game. At present, there are 49 heroes in the game, divided into 6 different roles. One of them is the Support role, who are the healers of the team. This makes a question arise, which healer should you pick for your team? Hence, here is a guide with all the AFK Journey Healers and which one you should pick for your team formation.

AFK Journey Healers: Who Should You Choose?

As mentioned before, healers are the heroes which are divided into the Support role. At present, there are 8 different heroes in the Support role. All of them have some form of healing skills, which is what makes them the Support. Hence, without further ado, here are all of the AFK Journey healers or heroes in the Support role and how they perform: 

8. Hammie

Hammie is an AFK Journey healer from the Lightbearer faction and she is a Rare level hero with Magic as her damage type. Her list of skills includes Pretty Fireball, You’ll Be Fine and I’m Hungry. You'll Be Fine allows her to passively heal the weakest ally and also buff them. I'm Hungry allows her to heal herself when necessary. Overall, her healing skills are mediocre and not that good, so we would advise against using her in any formation.

7. Fay

Fay is an AFK Journey healer from the Lightbearer faction and she is an A-level hero with Magic as her damage type. Her list of skills includes Vibrant Dance, Healing Gemstones, Blinding Light and Grand Entrance. Her Ultimate, Vibrant Dance enhances and heals all the allies in her range. Healing Gemstones allows her to heal 1 ally over time. 

Grand Entrance allows Fay to heal the ally on the tile in front of her at the start of the battle. Despite having her Ultimate and two passive skills for healing, Fay's healing is underwhelming with very little restoration power, so she is not the best choice as a healer for any formation.

6. Niru

Niru is an AFK Journey healer from the Graveborn faction and he is an A-level hero with Magic as his damage type. His list of skills includes Soul Shepherd, Soul Reaping, Spirit Devour and Ethereal Form. Soul Shepherd, his Ultimate, allows him to store the soul of an ally, letting them fight the battle in their spirit form after taking a fatal blow. His passive, Spirit Devour, drains the HP of all enemies to heal the weakest ally. Needless to say, he is a healer with potential but not good enough to be viable until and unless your formation consists of another healer and you want the life-draining. 

5. Damian 

Damian is an AFK Journey healer from the Wilder faction and he is an A-level hero with Magic as his damage type. His list of skills includes Explode, My Chariot, Emergency Support, It’s a Plane, and Inventor’s Will. Emergency Support is his passive, which he uses to restore his allies’ HP or replenish his Energy. His Ultimate, Explode, My Chariot! is also pretty great because it lets him blind all enemies. Overall, he is more of an all-rounder Support hero rather than a healer restoring HP effectively, but he can be helpful if you have strong enough heroes that don’t require much healing. 

4. Rowan

Rowan is an AFK Journey healer from the Lightbearer faction and he is an S-level hero with Magic as his damage type. His list of skills includes Fatal Greed, Smart Stall, Quack Waltz and Great Bargain. Fatal Greed, his Ultimate, allows him to move while continuously providing his allies with Energy. Smart Stall allows him to place health potions to heal allies with low HP. Great Bargain allows him to place a super health potion that restores max HP of an ally and gives them permanent Physical and Magic def. He is an amazing healer but the drawback is another Support is needed to protect him, so using him is a gamble.

3. Smokey and Meerky

Smokey and Meerky are an AFK Journey healer from the Lightbearer faction and they are an S-level hero with Physical as their damage type. Their list of skills includes Special Aroma, Energizing Formula, Quick Recovery and Withering Potion. Their Ultimate, Special Aroma creates an aroma that provides continuous healing to all allies. Energizing Formula increases the ATK and restores the Energy of allies within range of the aroma. Quick Recovery allows them to heal all allies in the aroma range. As a healer, they are OP but they also provide the ATK buff which is game-changing. Thus, they are high up on the list as an addition to any formation.

2. Koko

Koko is an AFK Journey healer from the Mauler faction and she is an A-level hero with Physical as her damage type. Her list of skills includes Full Energy, Fulfilling Feast, Patto Smash and Fluffy Shield. Full Energy, her Ultimate, gives all allies a bried DMG reduction and stats boost. Fulfilling Feast allows her to recover HP and increase some stats of herself or her ally. Her abilities are wide-ranged, with Patto Smash dealing damage and Fluffy Shield giving defense alongside the other two being healing skills. Overall, she is a great addition to any team formation and unbeatable when it comes to versatility, healing and defense. 

1. Hewynn

Hewynn is an AFK Journey healer from the Wilder faction and she is an S-level hero with Magic as her damage type. Her list of skills includes Rain Prayer, Healing Wave, Revitalize and Tranquility. Her Ultimate, Rain Prayer, allows her to continuously restore the HP of all her allies. Healing Wave passively allows her to restore a small amount of HP of one ally. 

Revitalize allows her to not only heal her allies' HP but also remove their debuffs. Tranquility makes her immune to control effects and allows her to reduce damage taken by allies when casting her Ultimate. Needless to say, she is a top-tier healer with amazing base healing stats and skills to keep her allies from dying. For this very reason, she is one of the top picks for any team formation, as long as there is a strong Marksman to ensure her skills are not wasted.

Needless to say, you should be choosing one of the top three heroes in our list of AFK Journey healers for your team formation. All of them are great healers with the perfect abilities needed to provide support to their allies. If you add them to your formation, you will not be disappointed by your losses, instead your heroes will be coming back to life for very low HP circumstances.
